About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Positive Behaviour Support and Clinical Lead, as the Behaviour Support Practitioner (core to proficient), you will play a pivotal part to contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team where your work will be instrumental in driving meaningful change, reducing restrictive practices and empowering individuals, focused on conducting functional behavioural assessments and developing evidence-based behaviour support plans across diverse community settings.

Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavioural assessments (FBAs) and develop NDIS compliant behaviour support pans (BSPs) in collaboration with individuals, families, and other professionals
Implement positive behaviour strategies that align with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, relevant legislation, and clinical standards
Work across metropolitan and regional South Australia within a multidisciplinary allied health team
Comply with organisational policies, maintain confidentiality, and promote workplace safety
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical best practices
Engage in supervision, training, and professional development
Skills and experience:
Proficient in the use of relevant technology, software systems, and office applications to support efficient service delivery and documentation
Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles, including conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing and implementing interventions, service delivery models, and the ethical use of restrictive practices
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new environments, and communicate effectively across diverse audiences
Proven capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced or complex settings
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the rights and well-being of individuals with complex needs
Clearances required:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
DHS Working with Children Checks
Driver's License and reliable vehicle
Professional Registration or membership - as applicable to discipline
