About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support the delivery of effective HR services across the organisation.
This role is responsible for coordinating recruitment, supporting onboarding and induction, providing advice on HR policies and employment conditions, and maintaining the HR management system. You will also liaise with payroll and contribute to key HR projects and administration.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide advice to managers and staff in relation to policies, awards and other employment related matters
Assist with performance management, investigation and other industrial relations matters
Manage or support HR related projects
Manage employee related surveys including development, publishing, analysis and reporting
Recommend and coordinate relevant training activities
Maintain and enhance HRMS and Employment Hero
Coordinate recruitment activities
Assist the team with WHS compliance activities
Coordinate events and activities that support enhancing the culture and staff engagement
Skills & Experience
Working knowledge and experience with the application and interpretation of HR legislation, principles and policies
Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role with a proven track record of delivering effective human resource support across various functions
Ability to research and analyse sensitive or complex matters, summarise information and develop recommendations and solutions
Qualifications
Qualification in human resource management or related field (desirable)
First aid qualification (minimum of Provide First Aid) (or willingness to obtain)
Hold a National Police Certificate
Hold a current Working with Children Check - can assist with starting the application process prior to the commencement
