Responsibilities
End to end recruitment of volunteers
Provide support, management and maintenance of the volunteer lifecycle, including induction, training and WHS
Assist in building, promoting and maintaining relationships with all volunteers and the community
Provide effective leadership so volunteers clearly understand their roles and responsibilities
Support a team of volunteer coordinators and act as an escalation point
Maintain volunteer records
Skills and experience
Excellent leadership and passion for volunteer management
Relevant qualifications and recent experience in a similar role
Knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to volunteering services and managing volunteers
Good knowledge of work place health and safety practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in not for profit, community services, local government or related industries will be highly regarded
Experience or understanding of working within a child safe environment
