This role will see the successful incumbent work across projects in the industrial, commercial, retail and residential property sectors. As the Site Manager will ensure high quality project delivery, assist in coordinating site activities and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise site works
- Work closely with the Senior Project Manager & Contracts Administrator to ensure compliance on site and with client processes
- Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard at all times
- Ensure project is meeting time and resource management:
- Support managing site resourcing and ensure projects have sufficient coverage
- Supervise site personnel and subcontractors
- Develop and review JSA's and Risk Assessments
- Check and prepare site reports, designs, and drawings
- Capture all site works into a detailed site diary and communicate to the project team
- Support toolbox meetings and other communications relevant to the project occur as required
- Support selecting tools and materials
- Drive safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety with the WHS Officer
- Implement quality control procedures
- Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that arise
- Assess and manage risks
- Notify Project Manager of variations and EOTs / delays
- Oversee review process to ensure Subcontractor compliance e.g., having appropriate licenses, insurances etc. prior to starting works
- Conducting Site inductions
- Opening and Closing the site
Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of Building & Construction
- Supervisors licences (favourable)
- Construction trade qualified
- Hold a current first aid accreditation
- Hold a current driver's license
- Have a clean police record and ability to obtain DCSI clearance
- Minimum of 5 years construction industry experience.
- Experience in construction scheduling and constructability
- Experience in managing construction sites
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Knowledge of construction processes, health, and safety procedures
- Have good understanding of Australian Standards (AS)
