About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to provide high quality field repairs, fault finding and maintenance on heavy vehicles servicing the waste industry. You will also be required to collect and return vehicles to sites.
In addition, you will receive applicable allowances, overtime, ongoing product knowledge training, the use of excellent site facilities and full personal protective clothing and safety boots.

Field and workshop-based repairs
Respond to breakdowns
Perform scheduled and general maintenance on equipment and vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults in equipment and vehicles
Conduct OH&S compliance reports
Maintain presentation of client vehicles
Skills and Experience
Relevant qualifications, ideally Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician or Fitter
Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
Current drivers licence C Class
Fault Finding experience Hydraulic and electrical equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written skills communication skills
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Have knowledge of OHS&E requirements
