Working towards the planning, establishment, coordination and implementation of all project elements, the Project Engineer is a vital team member within the Civil team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates, preparing all the documentation including sub-contracts/supplier agreements
- Ensuring a balance between cost and production to meet objectives and time constrictions
- Oversee works, analysing production methods and production performance against the schedule to contribute to the delivery of multiple projects on time and within budget
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance project value within the engineering and project framework
- Monitor adherence to safe work, ensuring safe systems of work are implemented to minimise risk to the environment, health and safety of all personnel
- Communicate best work practices, standards and expectations through clear and concise verbal and written communication
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years' engineering experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery preferably in the Civil Engineering space
- Experience in Contracts Administration, managing construction scheduling and cost/cash flow management is advantageous
- Hold a current White Card, DCSI or Defence Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Competency in project management suite software, ERP systems and project management platforms
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills to prioritise projects to adhere to schedules and timeframes agreed too with clients
