About the role
This role is responsible for managing the Technology Systems and Services program of strategic and operational projects through the program management lifecycle. This involves planning, governance, monitoring and overseeing the successful delivery of all TSS projects.
Develop and maintain an overarching program plan of all current and upcoming TSS related projects
Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects
Ensure regular reporting to the TSS Management team on key milestones, budgets and progress of the program of work
Manage risks and issues ensuring that appropriate treatments, processes and reporting frameworks are developed to mitigate these effects
Ensure flexible and appropriate governance structures are in place to enable project delivery
Ensure all project activities comply with TSS procedures and processes including ITIL, SDLC and project delivery frameworks
Provide leadership and direction to the Project Managers to foster a team culture of professional excellence, innovation and strong customer focus
Lead, direct, manage and support performance and development
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated ability to lead programs of projects on time and budget and achieving all project objectives
Demonstrated experience leading a diverse group to deliver business outcome
Experience managing to a set budget with the emphasis on affordability and value of service
Experience working with business improvement methodologies, preferably lean six sigma
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to minimise business risk
Possess high level of initiative and determination
