Oromax is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support one of their surgeons, becoming a vital part of their dynamic and collaborative team. About the Role:
As a Personal Assistant, you will be at the heart of their operations, delivering efficient administrative support that keeps the practice running smoothly. You will serve as the key liaison among the surgeon, practice team, patients, and colleagues, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Your ability to efficiently manage tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and facilitate effective interactions will be instrumental in driving the success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide efficient administrative support to the practice, surgeons, patients, and colleagues
•Assist in training team members and uphold the required standards
•Work collaboratively with the Administration Manager to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
•Open and maintain reception/admin desks, ensuring appropriate cover throughout the day
•Serve as the main point of contact for the nominated surgeon, coordinating and filtering necessary information
•Manage the nominated surgeon's calendar and ensure seamless scheduling
•Promote teamwork and support continuous process improvements across all Oromax staff
•Work closely with the Administration Manager and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the practice
Skills & Experience:
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Demonstrated excellence in customer/patient care with a high attention to detail
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
•Knowledge of medical terminology and/or health insurance schemes is desirable
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
•Ability to perform tasks with accountability and discretion
•Confidentiality of all patient and practice information
•Current first aid certificate
•Certificate III Dental Assistant or similar desirable
