About the Role:
Reporting to MIGA's National Manager - Human Resources, the duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Providing clerical and administrative support to the Human Resource/Payroll Department
Assisting the HR Advisor with the recruitment process
Coordinating the induction processes, including preparation of programs, employee folders, etc
Oversee the employee timecard process
Providing back up and support to the Senior Payroll Officer
Assist the National Manager, HR with the coordination and administration of employee training and development
Management of all HR/Payroll corporate files, including set up, filing and archiving
Oversee the filing and ongoing maintenance of the confidential employee filing
Skills and Experience Required:
Be currently studying or completed a Diploma in Human Resources, or Certificate IV in Office Administration or related discipline
Have a minimum 12 months experience in a HR Administrator/Coordinator role
Have demonstrated experience working within a Human Resources environment requiring a high level of confidentiality and trust
Have excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as productively within a small professional team environment.
