About the role:
We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team. The Contract Administrator is to manage the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for projects.
They are required to participate in the management and communication with the Client, Consultants, Subcontractors and Authorities, and in the absence of the Project Manager be responsible for all aspects of the project.
Duties:
Reviews Contract terms and conditions
Ensures compliance with the contract conditions, administrating the risks, etc
Ensures documents comply and manage all the risks related to the scope of work
Ensures that the Site Manager/Site Supervisor are knowledgeable of the scope of work
Responds to inquiries from subcontractors
Prepares letting advice recommendation
Processes subcontractor payments including valuation of variations, back charges, issue of payments, etc
Ensures subcontractor statutory requirements are met
Maintains positive relationships with clients and consultants
Maintains and ensures all work is of a high standard and compliant with safety and quality control frameworks through regular inspections
Qualification and Experience
3+ years of experience in a construction/infrastructure project delivery environment
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, building, economics or equivalent
Experience in commercial construction contract management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate ability to identify and manage risks and issues
Experience in cost control, forecasting and monthly reporting
