In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual obligations, and managing the financial aspects of the contracts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual requirements
- Manage all aspects of the contract administration process, including contract modifications, claims, and disputes
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, including project deliverables and timelines
- Manage the financial aspects of the contracts, including billing, invoicing, and payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all contractual requirements are met
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, building, economics, or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of commercial construction contract management
- Excellent knowledge of progress claims, variations, and contractual notices
- Competent technical, planning, and financial management knowledge
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields including Company accounting software, MS Project, MS Office and Outlook
- Excellent time management including prioritisation and delegation of operational tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project
- Experience in cost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting
