About the role

The Administration Assistant will provide all-round administrative support across the business and have a friendly and professional telephone manner. You must be able to work autonomously with the ability to work with limited supervision. A typical day will involve undertaking a diverse range of tasks including, administration, accounts, stock control and being the first point of contact for all customers.


Duties

  • Accurately input data into MYOB for invoices, reconciliation and accounts for both creditors and debtors
  • Follow up overdue accounts and prepare creditor payments
  • Process all job orders as required
  • Monitor Inventory control and inventory conversions
  • Undertake Stocktake
  • Prepare quotations for customers
  • Provide an excellent customer service at the desk and by phone
  • Purchasing and placement of orders as required
  • Co-ordinating subcontractors    
  • Costing of job cards
  • Prepare customer files

 

Skills and experience

  • Recent experience in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in MYOB software or similar 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A team player and able to work autonomously
  • Able to multitask and self-managed with limited direction
  • Computer literate and able to pick up and utilise multiple systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
