About the role:
Davies Stewart is proud to be partnering with Disability Living a reputable brand, in seeking their next Team Leader. Reporting to the Manager of Community and Social Inclusion, the successful candidate will play be a key member of the operational management team, contributing to the effective operational delivery and management of the Lifestyle and Community Participation department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the continuing business development and expansion of new business opportunities within the Client Services Department, including enhancing existing business and service delivery activities.
Facilitate the delivery of skills-based recreational and social activities with clients, overseeing a team of support workers to ensure client programs are delivered professionally and competently and meet clients' needs and goals.
Contribute to the development of innovative and client-centered lifestyle and community programs and activities.
Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided in a proactive, effective and efficient manner, with a client-centric approach.
Liaise, negotiate and communicate effectively with clients, their families/carers government agencies, other service providers and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful member outcomes.
Generate comprehensive reports that outline client specific needs to influence quality of care and NDIS funding outcomes.
Facilitating clients to actively participate in the planning, decision-making, and review processes related to their care and goals.
Provide a positive and engaging environment for employees and clients; create, maintain, and enhance productive working relationships within the team.
Monitor and manage site program budget and resource allocations.
Supervise and monitor the management of client information, ensuring data is collected, recorded and archived accurately and in line with quality assurance expectations,
Contribute to the review and analysis of incidents, complaints and trends to inform improvements in changes in support structure or delivery service delivery.
Skills & Experience:
Proof of the legal entitlement to work in Australia
Valid certifications including First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Medication Administration, and NDIS Quality, Safety, and You Certificate.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid Working with Children Check
Safe Environments for Children and Young People if working with children under 18 years of age
Compliance with employment screenings and clearances, including NDIS Worker Screening and DHS Disability Clearance.
Excellent time management skills
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
