We are seeking an experienced Planner with the Civil and Infrastructure sector, to collaborate and work closely with all project related teams to safeguard the stellar reputation and integrity of this market leading company.
Working on various projects, you would be responsible for supporting personnel with planning, scheduling and setting up a system to manage critical milestones, labour and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and external stakeholders to create, maintain, review and administer construction project schedules/programs
- Support and promote effective relationships with stakeholders to analyse their needs, keeping them in line with the Company's core values
- Prepare reports and presentations of the progress of projects to communicate to
- Support and liaise with multiple teams, providing consistent updates of the progress and relevant information about projects
- Develop site/project health, safety and environmental plans; reviewing and reporting incidents, non-conformance and near misses to prevent recurrence
- Support the tendering team with the production of a tender project schedule, focusing on the project value proposition
- Identify and address any issues before they arise, demonstrating adaptability to overcome any obstacles that may arise
Knowledge & Experience:
- Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Project Control, Business and Accounting
- Minimum five years' experience in a similar role
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card, with the ability to obtain a DCSI and Defence Clearance
- Demonstrated time management skills, being able to use sound judgement and a methodological approach to prioritise workload
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring sound communication skills both written and verbal
- Relevant knowledge of Planning software, resourcing and cost management and Earned Value Management
