Job Description

The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of standard operating procedures for stakeholder engagement and the management of strategic partnerships.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and contact philanthropists with an interest of funding education initiatives
  • Finalise a draft philanthropy plan and brief for the Chief Executive
  • Develop and implement a plan to host a round-table for key philanthropists to support system initiatives
  • Develop and implement a pilot for place-based meetings with local schools and philanthropists to support local needs

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sim ilar role within Government
  • Hold a current DCSI – Child Related Employment Clearance
  • Significant experience in planning and managing the delivery of programs, strategies and consultation processes
  • A firm knowledge of relevant government policy, agency procedures and practices
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary communication, program management and engagement methodologies, processes and practices within government
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to apply conceptual and analytical thinking
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
