About the role
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a team of six Receptionists reporting to the Site Manager. There are 20 Doctors and two Surgeons operating across nine consultation rooms which will require fast-pace professional administration. This role is on offer at a full time permanent basis, Monday to Friday. Rostered hours are between 8.00am to 6.00pm, 8 hours per shift.
Answer incoming calls
Direct calls to appropriate staff
Greet and check in all patients for consultations
Schedule patient appointments
Enter all demographic information
Skills and experience
Experience and proficiency with medical software (Genie)
Demonstrated experience working in a large-scale Medical Practice
Must be able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Solid experience in Medicare and private health fund claims
Possess exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and time management
