HomeStart's role, within the framework of government policy, is to provide leadership and innovation in the housing finance sector by enabling more South Australians to fulfil their home ownership dreams.
About the Role
The Information Management Officer is responsible for providing user training as well as 1st and 2nd level applications support to IM customers for Information Management systems and processes. This includes the use of Content Manager (EDRMS) and Sharepoint (intranet). They are also responsible for analysing and resolving customer duplications that impact the information management system. Contributing to project work, including but not limited to, system upgrades, records disposal and testing. The role is a backup to the Records Officer for digitisation tasks including the processing of incoming mail.

Duties:
Delivery and Planning of Information Management Training of systems and processes across HomeStart.
Induction and refresher
Plan and coordinate training arrangements for training provided by Vendor
Maintenance of training materials update or develop new where required
Provide excellent customer service support to HomeStart including timely actioning of IM Service Requests and coordinating the resolution of any problems escalated to other incident and request resolver groups.
Data Remediation:
Resolve error messages from CRM Event Processing mailbox
Manage Document Enrichment Fail actions in Content Manager
Analysis of Customer data to determine Primary Contact
Applying appropriate scenario fixes to merge duplicates
Maintenance of Content Manager including folder creation, retention and disposal, security and classification, and other maintenance activities.
Backfill and support other positions within the Information Management team as directed.
Make Sharepoint content changes as per requests from HomeStart teams
Financial Management: Monitor all relevant operational costs to ensure proper budgetary controls are exercised and budget variances are proactively managed and accounted for.
External Stakeholder Relations: external organizations, government agencies, customers and vendors where appropriate.
Skills and experience
Essential criteria
Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in information management or related discipline.
Strong ability to converse with both IM customers and IS staff at all levels of the organisation.
Comprehensive experience in the use and administration of electronic document and record management systems (EDRMS)
Intermediate to advanced skills within the Microsoft Office suite including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience in training delivery
Ability to work within a team as well as with autonomy
Well-developed ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people effectively.
Attention to detail including the ability to follow defined procedures
Good work organisation skills.
Strong customer service focus.
Desirable criteria
Experience in SharePoint configuration and support
Special conditions
Required to provide a satisfactorily National Criminal History Record Check (Police Check), where applicable.
May be required to act in higher level positions, or assume additional accountability, as and when required.
Flexibility in working across business units as required.
May be required to work reasonable overtime with notice.
Some out of hours, weekend work and intrastate/interstate travel may be required.
