About the company
The Australian Orthopaedic Association National Joint Replacement Registry (AOANJRR) is the largest national procedural monitoring registry within Australia. The AOANJRR monitors the outcome of all arthroplasty procedures nationally. This includes hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle and spinal disc replacement. It is owned and managed by the Australian Orthopaedic Association and is permanently funded by the Commonwealth Government under contract with the AOA. It is a listed Federal Quality Assurance Activity.

About the Role
The role of the Administration Officer will involve varied tasks and responsibilities under the direction of the AOANJRR Manager, whilst supporting a busy team undertaking some exciting projects.


  • Maintain database of participating hospitals, hospital coordinators and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with hospital coordinators regarding submission of data forms
  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of weekly Registry Working Group meetings
  • Record and prepare documentation related to ad hoc requests submitted to the AOANJRR
  • Assist with maintenance of the AOANJRR Website Assist
  • Maintain database of AOANJRR publications and presentations
  • Accounts payable/receivable, invoices and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with the creation of the annual report
  • Other tasks as directed by the AOANJRR Manager


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role
  • Experience in the health/medical sector 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and possess a high level of computing skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven experience managing databases
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Driven and highly motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
